How we tested Apple zero-nicotine bottle here
We run apple the same way in Bristol: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at apple in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: apple in Bristol works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Bristol
The honest read on apple: 8 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Apple | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | zero-nicotine bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in the UK |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Bristol | 2–4 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | £61 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £3.01 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.01 per 10 ml liquid plus £61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
