Berry starter kit Flavour in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Berry in Bristol: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.58 per 10 ml.
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: berry in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry starter kit really costs in Bristol
Berry in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested berry in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.58 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does berry in a starter kit last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
