How we tested Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit here

The honest read on blackcurrant: 19 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: blackcurrant in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.21 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.21 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
