Coil life, liquid cost and the blueraspberry habit
We run blueraspberry the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy Flavour in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blueraspberry 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Flavour in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested blueraspberry in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where blueraspberry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blueraspberry tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.18 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.18 per 10 ml liquid plus £35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does blueraspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blueraspberry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blueraspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.18 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
