Citrus RDA Flavour in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Citrus in Bristol: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Bristol
Citrus in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run citrus the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: citrus in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus RDA really costs in Bristol
Citrus in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Bristol survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for citrus in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Citrus | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | RDA | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 14 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in the UK |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Bristol | 2–4 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | £28 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £3.01 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.01 per 10 ml liquid plus £28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
