Dessert pod kit Flavour in Bristol: the review shortlist
Dessert in Bristol: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What dessert costs in Bristol
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.69 per 10 ml.
Dessert in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: dessert in Bristol works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in Bristol
Dessert pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
