Lemon squonk mod Flavour in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Lemon in Bristol: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What lemon costs in Bristol
If you are looking at lemon in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Lemon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in Bristol
A lemon squonk mod from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £1.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lemon in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should lemon start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How long does lemon in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 3 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
