Licorice squonk mod Flavour in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Licorice in Bristol: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What licorice costs in Bristol
Licorice in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on licorice: 12 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Bristol
We run licorice the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
