Licorice squonk mod Flavour in Bristol: the online shortlist
Licorice in Bristol: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.06 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.06 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does licorice in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.06 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
