Lime box mod Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Lime in Bristol: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
The honest read on lime: 13 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run lime the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Bristol
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.22 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
