Melon box mod Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Melon in Bristol: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
A melon box mod from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £1.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon box mod really costs in Bristol
We run melon the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.62 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Can I order Flavour online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
