Mint box mod Flavour in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Mint in Bristol: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint box mod really costs in Bristol
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.75 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.75 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Bristol survives.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.75 per 10 ml liquid plus £32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
