Mint prefilled pod Flavour in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Mint in Bristol: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What mint costs in Bristol
Mint in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A mint prefilled pod from the budget options in Bristol costs about £1.68 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Bristol works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.68 per 10 ml liquid plus £38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
