Pear RDA Flavour in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.52 per 10 ml.
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear RDA really costs in Bristol
A pear RDA from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
