Plain RDA Flavour in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plain in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain RDA really costs in Bristol
The honest read on plain: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.48 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does plain in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.48 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
