Plum 10 ml bottle Flavour in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.1 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 10 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.1 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.1 per 10 ml liquid plus £60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
