Plum refill pack Flavour in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Plum refill pack here
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.72 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Bristol
Plum refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.72 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.72 per 10 ml liquid plus £65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.72 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
