Salted box mod Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What salted costs in Bristol
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A salted box mod from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £1.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted box mod really costs in Bristol
Salted in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Bristol survives.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.98 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does salted in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
