Sour pod kit Flavour in Bristol: the best shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
A sour pod kit from the best options in Bristol costs about £1.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Bristol
Sour pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Bristol survives.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.95 per 10 ml liquid plus £62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
