Home / Sour RDA Flavour in Bristol: the deals shortlist

Where buyers go wrong with sour in Bristol

Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a sour RDA really costs in Bristol

If you are looking at sour in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

How we tested sour in a RDA

1. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.

• Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.

Where sour goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
• Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Packaging for sour in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
