Spiced pen device Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Spiced in Bristol: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a pen device for spiced
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.47 per 10 ml.
Spiced in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: spiced in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Bristol
Spiced in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Bristol survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.47 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.47 per 10 ml liquid plus £41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
