Spiced RDA Flavour in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Spiced in Bristol: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a RDA for spiced
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.54 per 10 ml.
We run spiced the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced RDA really costs in Bristol
Spiced in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested spiced in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for spiced in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.54 per 10 ml liquid plus £48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
