Spiced in Bristol: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Spiced vape pen here
We run spiced the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on spiced: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: spiced in Bristol works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced vape pen really costs in Bristol
Spiced in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested spiced in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.99 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is spiced legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How long does spiced in a vape pen last?
In Bristol we measured 3 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
