Tropical box mod Flavour in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.

UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How long does tropical in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
