Tropical box mod Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.29 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy Flavour in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Bristol
Tropical in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.29 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
