Tropical mesh tank Flavour in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.79 per 10 ml.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical mesh tank really costs in Bristol
The honest read on tropical: 9 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.79 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
