Tropical RDA Flavour in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a RDA for tropical
A tropical RDA from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £1.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.92 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
