Tropical squonk mod Flavour in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.95 per 10 ml.
The honest read on tropical: 10 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Flavour in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.95 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
