Tropical in Bristol: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Flavour to Bristol: the practical version
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A tropical starter kit from the pre-order options in Bristol costs about £1.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.92 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
