Vanilla cartomizer Flavour in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: vanilla in Bristol works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla cartomizer really costs in Bristol
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested vanilla in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.82 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How long does vanilla in a cartomizer last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.82 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
