Vanilla starter kit Flavour in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Flavour to Bristol: the practical version
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A vanilla starter kit from the compared options in Bristol costs about £3.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla starter kit really costs in Bristol
Vanilla starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.55 per 10 ml liquid plus £34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
